My 5 favorite travel tips for seamless travel

Updated: Mar 15

Traveling can be an amazing experience, but it can also be a bit stressful if you're not prepared. That's why I'm here to give you my favorite travel tips to help make your journey as smooth as possible. Whether you're planning a short getaway or a lengthy overseas trip, these tips will help you travel with ease and peace of mind.

  1. The more you’re prepped - the better Preparation is essential to the most streamlined travel possible. It might seem obvious, but don’t wait until the last minute. I highly recommend using a Master Packing List and/or a Packing Planner to prepare for your trip so you don’t forget anything.

  1. Organization is key TBH, it sucks to not know where you packed your phone charger, so don’t be that person! Utilize packing cubes and make sure you know which cube is for what, so when you arrive you can get straight to enjoying instead of stressing out looking for something you packed. Check out these amazing compression packing cubes – I'm obsessed!

  2. Layer up It’s so hard to predict the temperature when traveling – especially in public places like airplanes. I always opt for an easy tee, my go-to travel zip jacket, comfy leggings, and I’m always sure to pack a pair of cozy socks.

  3. Try on outfits beforehand If you really don’t want to overpack, and have room for buying things on your trip, don’t just pack outfits, try them on beforehand! I start off by putting everything I’m interested in bringing on my clothing rack. Then, I play around with sorting pieces into outfits I think will go well together. My final step is to try on all outfits AND take photos of them in case I need to remember what goes with what when I’m on my trip.

  4. Prep plane activities – and external chargers Being bored on a plane is one of the biggest Ugh! kind of moments. Being over-prepared with activities like a great book, downloaded podcasts, and an external charger in case your phone dies is key!
